Manufacturing & Quality
Built, tested and traced in one plant
Connectors, terminal hardware and combiner boxes are moulded, assembled and tested in one plant. Incoming material, in-process assembly and final inspection follow the same documented checkpoints — from a 100-piece trial order to a repeating container programme.
- 8 automated assembly lines and 130+ production and testing machines
- 16 in-house engineers covering product design, mould development and testing
- 40+ export markets across Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America
Six checkpoints from drawing to shipment
Every production lot passes the same gates. Records stay with the batch, so a question about a delivery can be traced back to the material and the line that made it.
Incoming material
Housing granulate, copper contacts, brass parts and seals are checked against the drawing revision and material certificate before release to the line.
Moulding and metal parts
Housings are moulded in house and metal parts stamped and plated to the same revision used for the approved sample.
Assembly
Contacts are crimped and seated, seals fitted and locking parts verified on automated assembly lines.
Electrical checks
Contact resistance and insulation resistance are measured on production lots against the series specification.
Sealing and fit
Seal position, cable range and mating fit are checked; qualification lots go through water-immersion testing for the IP rating.
Final inspection and packing
Dimensions, markings, label content and carton quantity are checked, and the inspection record is filed against the batch.
Quality control at three gates
Incoming inspection, in-process inspection and outgoing inspection each hold a release decision. Nothing moves to the next stage on a verbal pass.
| Stage | What is checked | Record kept |
|---|---|---|
| IQC | Material grade, plating, dimensions, material certificate | Incoming inspection sheet |
| IPQC | Crimp height, seal position, torque, first-off and patrol checks | Line inspection record |
| OQC | Contact and insulation resistance, sealing, appearance, label, packing | Final inspection report |
Inspection records and test data travel with the shipment or are sent on request.
What we can verify before it ships
Testing follows the parameter that matters in service, not a generic checklist.
- Contact resistance — ≤0.5 mΩ on the connector series
- Insulation resistance — ≥1000 MΩ
- IP67 sealing on connectors; IP65 on combiner boxes
- Crimp pull-out and terminal torque checks
- Dimensional and thread-gauge inspection
- Rated operating range: -40 to +85 °C (connectors)
- -25 to +60 °C (combiner boxes)
Certification coverage
Certification is held at component level, not as a single sheet for the whole catalogue. Ask for the pack that matches the model you are evaluating.
PV connectors
CE certificate and test report, REACH report and RoHS (RSL-SCCP) documentation for the connector range.
DC circuit breakers
CE certification for the breaker models used in the combiner box line.
DC surge protective devices
CE certification for the SPD modules specified in combiner boxes.
PV fuses
CE certification for the fuse range used for string protection.
Certificates are issued per component line. The current document set, including report numbers and dates, is sent with the quotation on request.
Traceability and documentation
Batch identification
Each lot carries an internal batch reference tied to its inspection record.
Revision control
Datasheets and drawings carry the revision used for production, so repeat orders match the approved sample.
Shipping documents
Packing list, invoice and inspection record travel with the shipment; certificates are supplied digitally.
Since 2019: what changed in the plant
The product range grew with the factory. Each step below changed what we could make, test or ship in house.
Company founded
Started with photovoltaic connector standardisation and the first automated assembly line.
Energy-storage line added
Storage connector range completed and the first export customers added in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Automation and R&D upgrade
New automated lines, a larger engineering team and high-current storage connectors developed in house.
Global delivery
Warehousing and delivery expanded across 40+ markets, with repeat programmes for integrators and pack builders.
Quality questions buyers ask
Can I audit the factory before ordering?
Are test reports available for the exact model?
How do you trace a quality issue back to production?
Is every production lot tested?
What happens if a lot fails inspection?
